Well, I am in a bit of a debate with my friends as to whether dogs should wear clothes. Of course you know which side I am on. I think dogs look amazing in clothes. But I have a few friends who say that it destroys a dog’s dignity. Dignity? Ha! Cuteness must win!

Susan Marlowe CPA and the great crochet pattern project

Hello from Susan Marlowe CPA. As you know, I love to make dog clothes, specifically for my chihuahuas. Well, my friends have started to get into the act too. Some of them have younger kids and so I have been teaching them to crochet. Dog clothes are an ideal project for young kids because they are small and easy. Plus, the dog is not going to care about an incorrect double crochet stitch once in a while.

Not only that, most kids really like their dogs a lot and so they are a lot more likely to be excited at the project.

Not Just a Knit Wit

It is Monday my vacation is over, and I am back to work 😦 . The last half of my vacation wasn’t as productive as it had started. I came down with bronchitis, and although I managed to knit everyday of my vacation it wasn’t as fruitful as I would have hoped.

Last time I posted that I had been working on headbands, well I still am. I have completed 5 and working on the 6th right now. I am using this pattern, and while the pattern is simple enough I can’t wait to be done with them. I have to be done with them before Thursday so I am knitting on them exclusively.

I think when all the headbands are done I am going to cast on for these fingerless mitts.  I think I will have earned a new project to work on, and my son has been…

This dog sweater is fun and frilly and looks to be crazy warm for those of you who have smooth-coated pups. My chihuahuas have enjoyed wearing it, they are quite cute! This pattern may be too much for a fuzzy dog in a warmer climate but all of that is up to you since you know your dog better than anyone.

How to Crochet a Dog Sweater- Multi-size Dog Sweater Pattern

This dog sweater is really fun and flirty. I can see it looking very cute on on a Chihuahua, a Min-Pin or other small, smooth dog. Of course, it would look adorable on your pet, no matter how big or small.
